Richard Walker Carp Landing Net

Richard Walker Carp Landing Net

£250.00Price
The Carp Landing Net was first designed by the great angler Richard Walker in the early fifties. From this design the London tackle Makers, B. James, first produced a commercial version of this net. It is thought that as little as thirty of these nets were ever made. Now Norman Agutters are continuing this tradition with their own interpretation of this design classic. Made from plans actually drawn by Richard Walker himself, in the fifties, Norman Agutter's net is made to exact specifications.
The 36" long arms are made from laminated cane and are whipped in wine thread and varnished. The spreader block and hinges are made from white metal and alluminium. The
handle is five foot in length using whole cane with decorative whippings. Each net is signed by Norman Agutters.
